Dr. Emika Lewis grew up in California, where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of the Pacific, and later earned her Doctor of Optometry degree summa cum laude from Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago graduating second in her class with Salutatorian honors. Her clinical experience spans multiple practice settings, where she has focused on comprehensive eye care, glaucoma and ocular surface disease management. Dr. Lewis is particularly passionate about serving diverse communities, demonstrated through her volunteer work providing free comprehensive eye exams to underserved populations in St. Lucia. Her multilingual skills in English, Spanish, and French allow her to connect with patients from various cultural backgrounds, ensuring everyone receives personalized, compassionate care.
